Recently, in 2017, Canada celebrated the 150th anniversary of Canadian Confederation. For this occasion the Royal Canadian Mint marked this occasion by minting a number of beautiful coins – these coins will not be put into circulation so it is a unique opportunity to collect a piece of Canadian history. The Royal Canadian Mint also commissioned Canadian artist Rebecca Yanovskaya to design a 99.99% pure silver with a modern Canadian design that quickly became a sought after coin.
